Kids camp cabin leaders needed!
We are looking for leaders and trainee leaders for our upcoming kids camps.
What are kids camps?
Our kids camps are usually 4 nights long camps for kids aged 8 to 12. They will usually be run in the second week of the school holidays (other than the December & January holidays)
Before the kids camp starts we will have 2 days of leader training and time for the leaders to get to know each other.
Training will usually start on Monday mornings at 10am, with the ability for leaders to arrive on Sunday night if needed.
Kids camp will kick off at 6pm on Tuesday nights and finish at 11am on the Saturday morning. Leaders will stay to help tidy up, have a debrief & lunch.

- Only your time & getting here! We will look after you from the Monday morning through to Saturday afternoon. We'll feed you, train you and support you.
Senior cabin leaders
Senior leaders need be be 15 years old and over. You will be in charge of a cabin with up to 7 campers and a junior (assistant) leader.
You, along with the junior leader will be responsible for the campers in your cabin for the duration of our kids camps - usually 4 nights.

Junior cabin leaders
Junior leaders, or leaders in training, are kids aged 13 to 14. Just too old to attend our kids camps, but not quite old enough to be a Senior cabin leader
You will assist the Senior leader to look after a cabin of up to 7 campers.

To qualify to the above positions you should be a Christian aged from 13 to 24 and be a New Zealand citizen or permanent resident. Suitable applicants with either a valid NZ working holiday visa or work permit may be considered.
If you are 25 or over and are still interested in volunteering at a kids camp, please contact Rodney at the camp as there may be other kids camp voluteer positions available, for example cooks, camp mum, camp nurse to name a few.

Returning cabin leaders
If you have completed a full cabin leaders application form within the last 12 months, as well as been a cabin leader here during that time, you can complete a returning leaders application form.
