Terms and Conditions
Please read the following terms and conditions carefully to avoid any confusion or disappointment during your stay at the camp
Check in/out times
Flats & Chalet: Check in is 2pm. Earlier check ins are by arrangement only and may incur an extra charge. Checkout is 11am
Weekend groups: Check in is 4pm: earlier arrivals are by arrangement only. Check out for all weekday groups and all holiday makers is 11am. Late check outs are by prior arrangement only and may incur an extra charge.
Check out for weekend groups using the main camp or lodge (other than holiday makers) is 2pm on Sunday afternoon. Later check outs are by prior arrangement only. Groups using the flats or chalet may be required to have checkout out of these areas by 11am. Advance notice of this will be given by the camp manager.
Schools: Check in times for schools needs to be confirmed at the time of booking to ensure no cross over of schools.
Cancellation policy
There is no refund of the deposit if the booking is cancelled within 60 days of arrival. Cancellation prior to 60 days of arrival will receive a 75% refund of the deposit paid.
Deposits for the Te Rau Aroha Complex and The Lodge must be received within one calendar month of the booking being made to guarantee the booking is held.
If a group booking for the Te Rau Aroha Complex or The Lodge is cancelled less than 60 days prior to the scheduled date of the camp the group will pay a minimum of 85% of the total booked value booked less the deposit already paid.
Bookings for the flats or chalet over peak periods cancelled less than one week prior to the arrival date, will be liable for 85%of the total value of the booking unless the area is re-booked. There will be no refund for late or early departures.

Alcohol Policy
Groups bringing alcohol on site is by prior arrangement only, and is at the camp managers discretion.
Waihi Beach Christian camp is a family orientated camp offering a safe and friendly environment for people of all ages to be able enjoy themselves.
Groups wishing to bring and consume alcohol on site must ensure that they have discussed their requirements and obtained permission from the camp manager prior to their arrival at the camp. Exclusive use of the camp may be required and relevant charges will apply.

The camp is a Christian based, family & children oriented facility. Appropriate behavior is expected all all times from all persons on site.
We ask that all people respect others on site, refrain from using profanities or rude & abusive language. Under no circumstances will drunkenness, fighting or disorderly behavior be tolerated. People behaving in a manner deemed inappropriate by the camp manager or their delegated representative will be required to leave site. The camp manager will not enter into negations and the police will be called to assist as required.
No refunds will be given.

Quiet times
No loud noise is permitted between 11pm and 7am. Any noise complaints, noise control call outs or fines will be the responsibly of the group
21st birthday parties
We do not allow 21st birthday parties on site. All other birthday or general parties are at the managers discretion. Strict adherence to the alcohol & behavior policies is expected.
Cleaning
Final cleanup of the facilities used by a group is the responsibility of the group and must be completed prior to departure.
The facilities used will be inspected by the camp manager or delegated person. If extra cleaning is required it will be charged to your final invoice. Rates are dependent on the areas involved and the amount of work or type of cleaning required.
If you would prefer not to do the final cleanup yourself, please discuss available options with the camp manager at the time of booking or prior to your arrival.

Dogs & Cats
Dogs & cats are only allowed with prior approval from the camp manager. Should you be granted permission to bring your dog or cat you must agree to the following terms:
- All dogs must be on a lead, at all times, when in the camps grounds.
- Dogs must be appropriately restrained at your site or unit.
- Dogs must not be left unattended.
- Guests are responsible for cleaning up after their pets in the camp and in the neighbourhood.
- Any disturbances such as barking must be stopped as soon as possible to ensure other guests are not inconvenienced.
- Dogs must comply with the Western Bay of Plenty District Council’s policy on dog control. Dogs are prohibited at specific times from the Waihi Beach foreshore and beach reserve.
- If we have given approval that you can stay in a unit or cabin with your pet we require you to provide your credit card details as security against damage. If there are any breakages or extra cleaning required a minimum amount of $100.00 will be deducted from your credit card.
